Why Practice Church Discipline?

  1. For the Good of the Person Disciplined
  2. For the Good of Other Christians, as They See the Danger of Sin
  3. For the Health of the Church as a Whole
  4. For the Corporate Witness of the Church
  5. For the Glory of God, as We Reflect His Holiness

What if We Don’t Practice Church Discipline?

  • “If we give up the ability to say what a Christian is not, we cannot meaningfully say what a Christian is.” (P.204)
