Chapter 5: Leaders Understand Worldviews: The Leader Shapes the Worldview of Followers
“We form a worldview, and then the worldview forms us” (45). Without a change in the worldview of the people you lead, leadership remains superficial. This is why preaching is so powerful; it seeks to change the very core of every man, woman, and child. A leader understands that he must not only aim for the actions of his followers, but he must first aim for the heart and mind of his followers. When the worldview is changed, the right actions will follow.
